Greetings Grant Applicant-
This message is to inform you that our online database server experienced a technical error this weekend, which resulted in the premature deactivation of our application on Saturday night September 30, 2017. This error prevented applicants who had yet to submit their in progress applications to us by the deadline on October 1, 2017 at 11:59pm.
We have been diligently working with our GIFTS/Blackbaud technical support team to rectify this issue. As of this morning the issue has been resolved. In an effort to ensure that applicants are able to submit their full and complete applications we have extended the deadline for all and any applicants until tonight October 2, 2017 at 11:59pm. If you experienced any technical difficulties over the weekend due to this issue and contacted SHF staff we will be following up with you today as well.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience while we work on fixing this issue. Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact our outreach staff for assistance.
Have a wonderful beginning to your week and we look forward to reviewing your applications.
All the best,
Cynthia, Stefanie, and Megan

Use these instructions to prepare for the Fall 2017 grant deadline. It is highly recommended that you prepare your work in Word, or a similar software, and then copy and paste your responses from that document into your application. This provides you with a back-up should you encounter unexpected problems when using the online application.
