El Pueblo History Museum recently opened exhibit space devoted to Museum of Memory. Museum of Memory is a public history project that strives to preserve the stories and legacies of Pueblo's people. Exhibit space includes the opportunity for the public to help the museum co-author the history of our community. The community can add a memory to the Pueblo map, write and share a story, tell the museum what Pueblo neighborhood they grew up in and where they live now, and they can help the museum complete the sentence "Pueblo is . . ."
As part of the Museum of Memory public history program, the museum is developing tools to help people talk to their loved ones with memory loss.
